IS CLOVER A WEED?
Clover is a plant that fertilizes the plants around it. Clover works with beneficial bacteria in the soil to draw nitrogen into the plant from the atmosphere and eventually is spread when the clover is mowed if the clippings are mulched. Many farmers actually grow clover because it’s so helpful. Clover co-exists with lawns, especially when lawns are kept above 3 inches. Doesn’t sound like a weed, does it!
